On February 23, 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Valikhan Amirkhanuly Turekhanov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral strategic cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, the export of agricultural products to the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the development of transport and logistics cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
