On February 11, 2026, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade held a press conference to implement the Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 15, 2011, No. AP-1729, “On the Plan for Organizing and Conducting Press Conferences in Ministries and Agencies, Organizations and Institutions, Executive Bodies of State Authority of the GBAO, Regions, the City of Dushanbe, and Cities and Districts of Republican Subordination.” The event was dedicated to summarizing the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in 2025.
The press conference was chaired by the ministry’s leadership and attended by a wide range of domestic and foreign media representatives (more than 46 participants).
At the beginning of the event, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, delivered a detailed presentation on the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the ministry’s activities in 2025. At the same time, a press release in Tajik and Russian was distributed to media representatives.
During the press conference, the ministry’s leadership responded to journalists’ questions on various aspects of the country’s socio-economic situation, including economic development, the activities of free economic zones, implementation of strategies and programs, development of artificial intelligence, the digital and green economy, foreign economic cooperation, and other related issues.
