On December 18, 2025, in order to fulfill the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, aimed at mitigating the impact of potential risks on the national economy, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, chaired by Deputy Minister Vosidiyon F. S., held a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Headquarters for Coordinating Macroeconomic Policy Implementation and Preventing the Impact of Potential Risks on the National Economy. The meeting focused on "Improving the Current System for Training High-Level Scientific Personnel."
At the beginning of the meeting, Vosidiyon F. S. noted that sustainable socioeconomic development in the modern world is impossible without highly qualified personnel. In the Republic of Tajikistan, the system for training scientific personnel is a priority area of state policy, and the country's leadership places special emphasis on this sector. Despite the achievements of recent years, the need to further improve this system, taking into account global changes and labor market demands, is becoming increasingly urgent.
It should be noted that by Resolution No. 264 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 30, 2021, the "State Program for the Training of Higher-Level Scientific Personnel for 2021–2030" was adopted.
At this meeting, reports were heard from the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Hoshimzoda Homid Hasan, and the Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences, Salomiyon Muhammadovud Kayum.
Following the review of these issues, the Interdepartmental Headquarters adopted the relevant decisions, which will be forwarded to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for further implementation.
