On November 29, 2025, in pursuance of the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, outlined in his latest Address regarding the development of intellectual capital, the formation of an economy based on knowledge and innovation, and the comprehensive development of inventive activity among youth and adolescents, at the initiative of the State Institution "National Center for Patents and Information" of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, an awards ceremony was held for the winners of the Republican Competition "Inventors and Innovators of Tajikistan" for 2023-2024.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dilrabo Mansuri Saidullo, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe Dilbar Rahim Odilzoda, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Lutfiya Abdukholik, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlat Sharif Safarzoda, Deputy Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Bodushorzoda Merali, Vice President of the Eurasian Patent Office, Vladimir Anatolyevich Ryabovolov as well as representatives of ministries and departments, scientific and educational institutions, industry scientists, inventors and innovators, entrepreneurs, and domestic manufacturers.
The main goal of the Competition is to identify young talent, promote and popularize inventive activity, support and encourage inventors and innovators across the country, implement inventions into production, develop human potential, and identify mechanisms for supporting and encouraging inventors and innovators.
The Competition began with a plenary session featuring speeches by high-ranking guests, followed by a ceremony honoring the winners and runners-up.
A roundtable discussion on "The Role of Inventions in Ensuring a Healthy Life" was also held, where participants presented their industry-specific reports and discussed current issues.
