On November 25, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarаli, and Carsten Schmitz-Hoffmann, Director General for Europe, the Mediterranean, and Central Asia of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, as well as the progress of existing GIZ projects in the fields of economics, agriculture, energy, environmental protection, and personnel training.
The parties noted the importance of further deepening cooperation and expanding it into new areas, expressing their commitment to the effective implementation of current programs and exploring additional opportunities for developing technical cooperation.
