On October 20, 2025, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting to present and discuss the draft Socioeconomic Development Program for Dushanbe for 2026–2030 (SEDP Dushanbe 2026–2030). The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Solehzoda Ashurboy Abduvohid, Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarli, representatives of ministries and agencies, development partners, and industry experts.
Opening the meeting, Solehzoda A. A. spoke about the implementation of the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, regarding the achievement of national goals and priorities, and emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation with relevant parties to finalize the draft Program.
Next, Abdurakhmonzoda A. S. presented the draft Dushanbe 2026–2030 PSEDP and outlined key development goals and priorities, including digitalization, the implementation of artificial intelligence, innovative economic development, human capital development, and other key areas.
A significant portion of the roundtable was devoted to discussing and developing constructive proposals for the draft Program, with the active participation of representatives from ministries and agencies, international organizations, members of the Development Partners Coordination Council, national experts, and other stakeholders. Solehzoda A. A. and Abdurakhmonzoda A. S. provided detailed answers to questions raised.
At the end of the meeting, the discussion was summarized, conclusions were formulated, and next steps were identified for preparing the final version of the Dushanbe 2026–2030 PSEDP and the Action Plan for its implementation.
