On October 3, 2025, a celebratory meeting dedicated to State Language Day was held with the participation of the leadership and staff of the Central Office of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
In his welcoming speech, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin noted the words of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon: "Our language, over more than six thousand years of history and civilization of the Tajik people, has traveled a thorny path, reflecting the fate with all its events and the spiritual world of Tajiks in all its colors and splendor, and has played an outstanding role in the national identity and national pride of the Tajik people."
It was emphasized that thanks to the constant efforts, attention, and care, as well as the wise policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity—Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon during the era of the country's independence, the Tajik language was granted the status of state language. It also became the foundation of Tajik statehood, a symbol of identity, and a source of pride for every conscientious and patriotic person.
At the end of the meeting, ministry employees were given specific instructions on maintaining a high level of language proficiency, preserving its values, and maintaining and impeccably transmitting the state language to future generations.
