In order to implement the instructions and directions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin took part in the events dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Panj district of Khatlon region.
On the morning of September 8, an official ceremony was held at the central stadium of the district in honor of the 34th anniversary of the State Independence with a theatrical cultural program.
Zavqizoda Z. A. spoke at the event, congratulated the residents of the district on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the 34th anniversary of State independence and presented medals and certificates of honor to a number of employees of the executive bodies of state power of the Panj district, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies on the occasion of this historic holiday.
In his speech, Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that during the years of independence, under the wise leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, along with ensuring complete peace and stability, sustainable growth in all socio-economic spheres of cities and regions of the country was achieved. In particular, in just 24 years of independence, the volume of industrial and agricultural production increased by 13 times, the total volume of domestic trade by 218 times, and the average wage of the population by more than 191 times.
It was noted that within the framework of the action plan for a worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence in the Panj district, 80% of the planned facilities in various socio-economic spheres have been built and commissioned to date, and work on the improvement and construction of the remaining facilities is actively ongoing. In this regard, Zavqizoda Z. A. called on residents, entrepreneurs and farms of the district in response to the support, care and instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to intensify work on improvement and construction, the creation of manufacturing enterprises, gardens and vineyards, the effective use of land for sowing and harvesting agricultural products, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order in places of residence in order to worthily celebrate the 35th anniversary of Independence with significant achievements.
As part of the festive events in the Panj district, Zavqizoda Z. A. took part in the opening of a number of festive facilities, including two schools and one stadium in the settlements and villages of the district, congratulating residents on Independence Day and the commissioning of new facilities.
Also, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, together with the Chairman of the Panj district, visited an exhibition of agricultural and industrial products, as well as folk crafts, which was held in the district's culture and recreation park.
