On July 24, 2025, a meeting of the first-level Interdepartmental Working Group on the development of the National Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030 was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan under the leadership of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin with the participation of the heads of ministries and departments of the country. The purpose of the meeting was to present and discuss the draft National Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030 (NDP 2026–2030).
At the beginning of the meeting, Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that the draft NDP 2026–2030 was developed in accordance with the instructions from the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in order to implement the country's strategic objectives, and emphasized that the proposals and comments of the ministries and departments are important for improving this draft program.
Then the participants were presented with the draft NDP 2026-2030, which reflects the goals and priorities of the country's development, including digitalization, industrial and artificial intelligence development, innovative, scientific and inventive development of the economy, human capital development and other areas.
Representatives of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministers of Justice, Finance, Transport, Labor, Migration and Employment, Energy and Water Resources, the Chairman of the National Bank, representatives of the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education, the Director of the Export Agency, as well as deputies of other ministries and departments spoke at the meeting. They presented constructive proposals for finalizing the draft NDP 2026-2030.
It should be noted that the National Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026-2030 is the third stage of the implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030.
At the end of the meeting, the results of the discussion were summed up, opinions and proposals were summarized, further steps for finalizing the draft NDP 2026–2030 were identified, and upcoming consultations were planned.
