PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CITY OF NUREK
On July 31, 2026, a press conference of the Chairman of the City of Nurek, Mirzozoda Ibrohim, was held in the hall of the Executive Body of State Authority of the City of Nurek, with broad participation of representatives of national and local mass media.
During the press conference, the Chairman of the city provided detailed information on the results of the socio-economic development of the City of Nurek during the first six months of 2026, as well as on the prospects for further activities.
During the event, Chairman of the City of Nurek Ibrohim Mirzozoda gave specific answers to questions from media representatives concerning various aspects of the city's socio-economic life, including the implementation of government programmes, the construction of facilities dedicated to the anniversary, infrastructure development, public utilities, support for entrepreneurship, the creation of new jobs, and improving the quality of social services.
At the conclusion of the press conference, Chairman of the City of Nurek Mirzozoda Ibrohim Kholmurod noted that the worthy residents of Nurek, under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, will continue to make even greater efforts with a strong sense of patriotism and responsibility to achieve the country's strategic goals, ensure sustainable socio-economic development, strengthen national unity, and expand development and improvement initiatives, thereby making a worthy contribution to preparations for the great national celebration — the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be recalled that this press conference was held in implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan No. AP-1729 dated September 15, 2011, “On the Organization and Conduct of Press Conferences in State Bodies,” as well as in accordance with the approved plan of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region.
