On July 7, 2026, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the Executive Body of State Authority of the City of Nurek, chaired by the Chairman of the City, Mirzozoda Ibrohim, to review the results of the socio-economic development of the City of Nurek for the first half of 2026.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan Rajabzoda Khotamshoh, a representative of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region, First Deputy Chairman of the Court of Khatlon Region Akhyozoda Shamsullo, Deputy Chairmen of the city, the Head of the Executive Office, heads of law enforcement agencies, heads of city organizations and institutions, as well as other responsible officials.
Opening the meeting, Chairman of the City of Nurek Mirzozoda Ibrohim noted that during the first six months of the current year, residents and activists of the city had ensured socio-economic development and achieved significant results. It was emphasized that all these achievements had become possible thanks to the implementation of the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
Then, Deputy Chairman of the City of Nurek Mahmadizoda Khairiddin delivered a report on the main socio-economic indicators of the city.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the City of Nurek Mirzozoda Ibrohim Kholmurod instructed the heads of structural divisions, enterprises, and institutions of the city to take concrete measures to ensure the effective use of available resources, fulfill tax revenue plans, develop economic sectors, attract investments, prevent crime, raise the civic awareness of the population, and make proper preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was emphasized that sustainable socio-economic development of the city can only be achieved through the full utilization of available opportunities and dedicated, conscientious work.
