Today, in the newly built village of Chorsu in the Lakhsh Rural Jamoat of Lakhsh District, a grand celebration of International Nowruz was held in a festive atmosphere with the participation of the representative of the district’s local executive authority, Toktosun Roopov, residents of the jamoat, activists, and guests.
During the event, residents and students of the jamoat’s educational institutions showcased their national crafts and skills. Various types of traditional handicrafts and the preparation of national dishes, including oshi burida and plov, were presented in the festive exhibition areas.
In his speech, the representative of the local executive authority of Lakhsh District, Toktosun Roopov, congratulated the residents of the jamoat on the occasion of Nowruz on behalf of the Chairman of Lakhsh District, the esteemed Kholzoda Karomidin Kamoliddin.
At the same time, a theatrical performance featuring local artists and talented students was held, which delighted the participants.
Afterwards, various sports games were organized among teenagers and young people, where participants demonstrated a high level of skill and strong preparation.
It is worth noting that the Nowruz celebrations are being held within the framework of the action plan of the local executive authority of Lakhsh District and continue with special grandeur.
