The Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrahim ordered to check the preparation of roads and road services for the winter season.
" Due to the fact that, according to the forecasts of weather forecasters, by the second decade of October, the air temperature in the country will already decrease noticeably, it is necessary to check the condition of roads and road structures, the territories of road enterprises, buildings and premises, the readiness of special equipment and equipment, the process of preparing anti-slip materials, diesel fuel, coal, firewood, winter clothing, the availability of other consumables" , - said the head of the Ministry of Transport at the control meeting on October 7.
For this purpose, a Working Group on Inspection of Preparation of the Road Transport Sector for the Winter Season was created, which included deputy ministers, heads of relevant structural subdivisions and subordinate institutions of the ministry. The working group, headed by the first deputy transport minister Rahim Bobozoda, will simultaneously check the progress of construction and reconstruction of roads and bridges, registration of road assets, and prevention of heavy and large-calibre vehicles on roads.
It was emphasized that the road transport industry should be fully ready for uninterrupted and effective activity in the winter period by November 1 of this year.
It should be recalled that on September 30 at the regular meeting of the Government of the country, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the nation, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon gave instructions and instructions to the Government of the country, ministries and departments and other institutions on preparation for the winter period at a high level, sufficient stock of food and fuel for all spheres, increasing construction work in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
