On December 4, 2024, at the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan for cities and districts of the Kulyab region, a scientific and practical conference on the topic was held in the meeting room of the Khatlon State Medical University: "The development of an anti-corruption culture is an important factor in combating corruption, dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day.The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Dangara district Begmurodzoda Davron, Rector of Khatlon State Medical University. The event was attended by Professor Kurban Ubaidullo Kurban, representatives of executive bodies of state power, heads and employees of law enforcement agencies, organizations and institutions, religious figures, students and the public, in total 1,100 people tookpart in the event. The conference began with the performance of the national anthem, during which its participants expressed their opinions about corruption and its danger to society, the importance of collective counteraction to this phenomenon and raising anti-corruption awareness of citizens.In particular, it was noted that corruption negatively affects the overall development of society both economically, spiritually and culturally. In general, the event was held at a high level, and it is hoped that its results will have a positive impact on raising legal awareness of the public.
