On December 4, 2024, at the initiative of the Department of the Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan in the cities and districts of the Kulyab region, a scientific and practical conference on the topic "Formation of an anti-corruption culture is an important factor in combating corruption" was held in the conference hall of the Khatlon State Medical University dedicated to the "International Anti-Corruption Day". The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Dangara district Begmurodzoda Davron, Rector of Khatlon State Medical University.I.T. Professor Kurban Ubaidullo Kurban, representatives of executive bodies of state power, heads and employees of law enforcement agencies, organizations and institutions, religious figures, students and civil society of the district, with a total of 1,100 people. The event began with the performance of the national anthem, during which the participants expressed their opinion about corruption and its danger to society, the importance of collective opposition to this phenomenon and increasing anti-corruption education of citizens. In particular, it was noted that corruption is an undesirable phenomenon that has a negative impact on the comprehensive development of society, both from an economic, moral and cultural point of view. In general, the event was held at a high level, and it is hoped that its results will have an impact on improving the legal education of society.
