Congratulations from the Chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tabarzoda Jamshed Afzal,
on the occasion of the significant historical date — Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan carries historical, political, economic, social, cultural and legal value.
In every independent state, the Constitution is recognized as a fundamental document that defines the foundations of the constitutional system, the rights, freedoms and essential duties of individuals and citizens, as well as the structure and division of state power.
The achievement of state independence marked the beginning of large-scale reforms in building a sovereign Tajik state. With the adoption of the new Constitution on 6 November 1994 through a nationwide referendum, a solid legal foundation was laid for establishing an independent state and a free, progressive civil society.
The origins of these legislative reforms date back to the historic 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Founder of National Peace and Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon — played a central role in this process, presenting important proposals aimed at strengthening the rule of law, protecting citizens' rights, especially those of refugees, and improving legislation.
The Constitution has become a reflection of the hopes and ideals of the noble and civilization-building Tajik nation. With its adoption, political-legal and socio-economic reforms began in all spheres of life, establishing order and stability, and providing a firm foundation for constitutional development.
Thanks to the Constitution, the international community recognizes Tajikistan as a sovereign, democratic, law-based and peace-oriented state — a source of pride and honor for every Tajik citizen.
The Constitution unites the people of Tajikistan under the banner of solidarity, cooperation and national consensus, guiding us toward the progress, prosperity and flourishing of our beloved independent homeland — Tajikistan.
Dear colleagues!
On this bright and blessed day, when the proud people of Tajikistan celebrate the adoption of the National Charter — the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan — I sincerely congratulate you, your families and loved ones.
I wish you prosperity, peace, good health, well-being, happiness and a harmonious life under the flag of freedom, unity and mutual understanding.
Happy holiday to you all — may it be blessed!
