A meeting between the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan and the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Technology, Mr. Amandeep Singh Gill, took place at the UN Headquarters.
During the discussion, the parties addressed key aspects of international cooperation in the field of technology and artificial intelligence, as well as prospects for the development and regulation of digital innovations.
Tajikistan is actively advancing AI and digital technology initiatives on the international stage, advocating for constructive dialogue and partnerships in this strategically important field.
Also, as part of the event, a meeting took place between the Tajikistan delegation and Edward Mermelstein, the Head of the Department of International Relations of the New York City Government.
