On 18 September 2026, the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a cultural and educational event entitled “Promoting National Dress, Etiquette and Respectful Communication to Preserve Cultural Values.”
The event was dedicated to honouring national values, promoting etiquette and respectful communication, and introducing participants to the traditional dress of various regions of the country, including Badakhshan and Rasht. It aimed to foster greater interest in national culture, strengthen respect for folk traditions and promote harmonious relations within society.
National dress reflects the history, craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibilities of the Tajik people, while etiquette and respectful communication are expressed through mutual respect, kind words and dignified conduct. Preserving these values helps strengthen national identity and pass on a rich cultural heritage to future generations
