“AI ALLEY” — A New Platform for Showcasing Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and Digital Technologies in Dushanbe

On 5 September 2026, Kurushi Kabir Park in Dushanbe hosted “AI ALLEY” (“Artificial Intelligence Alley”), an open festival of artificial intelligence, innovation and digital technologies.

 

The event was held at the initiative of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. It aimed to showcase the practical capabilities of artificial intelligence, promote digital culture and strengthen cooperation between the government, the private sector and the startup ecosystem.

 

The festival was attended by the Agency’s leadership, representatives of several ministries and government agencies, and development partners. They shared their views on the significance of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption, at the initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan, of a resolution proclaiming 31 August as the International Day of Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence.

 

Across the festival’s four main zones — the main stage, exhibition zone, learning zone and entertainment zone — technology companies, startups, educational institutions, programmers and young people showcased their products, services and innovative capabilities. They also presented digital projects and delivered masterclasses, hands-on sessions and interactive activities as part of the festival programme.

 

As a platform for networking, learning and showcasing new technologies, “AI ALLEY” helps raise public awareness of artificial intelligence, support young people and startups, and further develop Tajikistan’s innovation ecosystem.
