On January 21, 2025, a round table on the development of digital innovations in the context of the President's address was held at the National Library of Tajikistan on the initiative of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event brought together heads and representatives of ministries, departments, government agencies, experts and specialists. The participants heard reports that outlined the key provisions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan's address regarding the development of innovations and digital technologies.
Particular attention was paid to the plans of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan aimed at implementing legislative reforms necessary for the introduction and application of modern technologies in various spheres of the economy and social life. The issues of training specialists in digital technologies through specialized educational programs and strengthening the legislative framework for digitalization were also touched upon.
As part of the discussions, the participants focused on the following topics:
- development and implementation of innovative and digital educational programs;
- strengthening legislation in the field of digitalization and innovation;
- stages of development of innovative medicine;
- ensuring the security of digital systems and their effective implementation.
Participants emphasized that the development of innovations and digital technologies is a strategic direction that will, in the future, significantly contribute to the country's sustainable development and improve citizens' quality of life.
The final stage of the round table allowed participants to freely exchange views and discuss practical steps to implement the proposed initiatives.
Thus, the round table became a platform for discussing the digital transformation strategy of Tajikistan, aimed at creating new opportunities for sustainable growth in all sectors of the economy and improving the standard of living in the country.
