The main objective of the hackathon is to develop green and digital competencies among the youth of Central Asia, fostering the creation of innovative technologies and services for sustainable development, as well as creating conditions for their implementation in the real sector of the economy. The initiative is supported by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), GIZ PROGRESS, and other international development organizations.
During the second stage, seven teams presented their projects, each offering innovative and digital solutions to pressing environmental challenges. The participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, creativity, and commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
Following the competitive selection process, three teams from Tajikistan advanced to the hackathon final, which will take place from 25 to 27 June 2026 at Lake Issyk-Kul in the Kyrgyz Republic. During the final stage, participants will have the opportunity to present their projects to investors, potential employers, and international experts, as well as compete for further support and development of their initiatives.
We congratulate the finalist teams and wish them every success in proudly representing Tajikistan at the regional level!
