On November 27, 2024, Panel Session VI, “Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Development," was held on the sidelines of the Economic Forum of the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia.
The panel session was moderated by the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, which in its opening speech shared its opinion on progress and achievements, effective regional cooperation, cross-border exchange of data, and other information.
High-level delegations from SPECA member countries, the private sector, and international organizations attended the panel session.
In addition, industry specialists and experts made presentations on strengthening innovation and digital technologies in the countries of Central Asia and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as information on ongoing projects in this region.
Representatives of the participating countries noted the region's advanced achievements in various areas of the green economy and the implementation of innovation and digital technologies.
Following the meeting on strengthening cooperation, the participants once again expressed their readiness to create mutually beneficial cooperation and implement the issues noted.
