On the afternoon of November 21, 2024, an open dialogue on courier services in the era of e-commerce - adaptation to the new reality and consumer protection in e-commerce was held at the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the Association of e-commerce participants, the Civil Initiative on Internet Policy and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).
The dialogue was attended by the management of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies, representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management, the Tax Committee, the Customs Service, development partners, mobile operators, and the private sector.
The purpose of the dialogue is to discuss current issues in e-commerce, logistics, and delivery, especially courier services, in the field of consumer protection and to develop joint recommendations for developing logistics and improving consumer protection.
Following the open dialogue, the participants expressed their readiness to establish mutually beneficial cooperation and implement the issues noted.
