On November 20, the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies (AIDT) under the President of RT in partnership with Association of Finance Organizations of Tajikistan (AFOT) and with the support of the World Bank Group (WBG) held "Fintech Day", which was attended by the National Bank of Tajikistan, the (AIDT) under the President of Tajikistan, financial and credit institutions, mobile operators and fintech companies.
The purpose of the event was to discuss topical issues of development of fintech industry in Tajikistan and information security in the conditions of digitalization, as well as the application and formation of promising directions for the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
The participants of the meeting actively discussed topical issues of data, including Big Data, GovTech, Digital Transformation Strategy, financial literacy, opportunities for application of AI in all spheres of economy.
Special attention was paid to cybersecurity issues in the light of digital transformation of Tajikistan.
