On October 15, 2025, the Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting with representatives of U.S. companies, including UST JBC, Nasdaq, Tethys Getevay Investment, FL Smidth, SpaceX/Starlink, and Zeppelin Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of economic digitalization, attracting foreign investment, implementing innovative projects, developing digital infrastructure, and introducing modern technologies.
The leadership of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies expressed its readiness to expand cooperation with American companies, implement joint projects in the field of information technology, and apply advanced international experience to foster the development of the digital economy.
In turn, the representatives of the U.S. companies expressed satisfaction with the initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan aimed at developing a modern economy and creating a favorable investment environment. They also expressed their readiness to cooperate in the implementation of innovative projects, the introduction of high technologies, and the expansion of the Starlink global network across the country.
The meeting was regarded as an important step toward strengthening economic, scientific, and technical cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and leading global companies, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of new initiatives in the fields of innovation and digital technologies.
