On October 14, 2025, within the framework of the International Forum “Dushanbe Invest – 2025,” new cooperation documents were signed, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Among them were a Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding between the Open Joint Stock Company “Certification Centers, Public Services and Digital Program Development” under the Agency and the Limited Liability Company “Unicon-soft.”
These documents establish a solid foundation for expanding scientific, technical, and digital cooperation, implementing joint projects in innovation and digital technologies, and setting a new stage in the development of interagency partnerships and digital capacity-building between the two countries.
During the Forum’s panel session on “Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI),” the Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies, Mr. Khurshed Mirzo, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, and Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Isfandiyor Saidullo, participated and delivered speeches.
