On October 13, within the framework of the international investment forums “Dushanbe Invest – 2025” and “Digital Tajikistan – 2025,” a meeting was held between the Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khurshed Mirzo, and the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shermatov Sherzod Khotamovich.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation in digital economic transformation, enhancing digital integration, exchanging experience, and implementing joint innovative solutions.
Both sides expressed their readiness to develop and implement joint projects in such areas as e-government, creation of digital platforms, development of human capital in the ICT sector, and support for startups.
The meeting was recognized as an important milestone in the cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of digital technologies and innovation, contributing to the strengthening of bilateral ties and the development of the regional digital ecosystem.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together on the discussed issues and to implement practical measures for their realization.
