On October 8, 2025, the director of the Agency of innovation and digital technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The parties discussed avenues of cooperation in the areas of digital literacy, innovation development, and strengthening the role of youth in the country’s digital transformation.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on UNDP’s activities in the Republic of Tajikistan, particularly on the progress of implementing innovative projects and supporting national initiatives in the field of digital technologies.
In addition, the parties discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at developing and deploying digital technologies, strengthening innovation capacity, and contributing to the achievement of the country’s strategic goals in digitalization.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue collaboration on the discussed issues and to implement specific practical measures.
