Today, October 4, 2024, a meeting of the Tajik-Russian Business Council and the Russian-Tajik Business Council was held at the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan as part of the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by Mirzo Khurshed Faizullozoda - Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Volvach Dmitry Valerievich - Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Nazaraliev Islam Zamirovich - Chairman of the Russian-Tajik Business Council, Surkhov Muhammad Akhmadovich - Chairman of the Tajik-Russian Business Council.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the domestic business community from the Tajik side, and representatives of government and business structures from the Russian side.
During the speeches, the importance of developing bilateral cooperation, digital transformation and digitalization of the public and private sectors, improving the efficiency of management and business activities through the introduction of IT solutions, and the implementation of bilateral IT projects was noted.
The development of marketplaces in the Republic of Tajikistan was discussed separately.
At the end of the meeting, bilateral documents on cooperation between representatives of the private sectors of the two countries were signed.
