On July 24, 2025, the Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan, Mr. Khurshed Mirzo, met with Mongolia’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Communications, Mr. Batkhubar Enkhbayar.
It is worth noting that earlier that morning, in the presence of the Heads of States – the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and the President of Mongolia, H.E. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh – the two sides signed two cooperation documents. These included: the Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications of Mongolia, and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Open Joint-Stock Company «Centers for Certification, Public Services and Digital Software Development» and the State Enterprise «E-Mongolia Academy».
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of the innovation environment and the digital transition process, as well as prospects for the e-government development, including digital government services in the Republic of Tajikistan and Mongolia.
In conclusion, both sides expressed their readiness to follow up on the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the signed documents and to further strengthen their cooperation, emphasizing the importance of continuing constructive dialogue to ensure the effective execution of the agreed initiatives.
