On July 15, 2025, a meeting took place between Mr. Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Her Excellency Ms. Katherine Smitton, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the exchange of experience in the fields of innovation and information technology, and expressed their mutual interest in deepening bilateral cooperation.
Her Excellency Ms. Katherine Smitton expressed her appreciation for the meeting and affirmed the readiness of the relevant institutions of the United Kingdom to strengthen cooperation with their Tajik counterparts, including the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to strengthen cooperation on the matters discussed and to take concrete steps towards their practical implementation.
