Under the initiative of the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a forum-seminar on “Future Communication Technologies” was held on May 14-15, 2025 in the IT-Park building of Dushanbe.
The key topics of the event were modern achievements in the field of mobile, satellite and fixed communications, as well as the application of artificial intelligence and automation of telecommunication networks. In this regard, during the forum-seminar experts raised issues related to new generations of mobile communications (including 5G), satellite technologies, fiber-optic and communication networks.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the largest companies in the industry, including GSMA, Huawei, RIPE NCC and IETF. In their presentations, the experts discussed the experience of digitalization in the world and the region, the application of innovative solutions, the role of regulators in the development of digital technologies and the future development of digital infrastructure.
