The 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan is a great national celebration for every citizen of the country and a symbol of statehood, unity, peace, stability, and progress of independent Tajikistan.
Over the 35 years of State Independence, the Republic of Tajikistan has followed a glorious path of nation-building and development, achieving significant accomplishments in various areas of public life, including science, education, culture, economy, agriculture, healthcare, and modern technologies. During this historic period, broad opportunities have been created for the development of national science, the training of scientific personnel, and the practical implementation of research results in production.
One of the important areas of scientific development during the years of independence has been agricultural science, veterinary medicine, biological safety, and biotechnology. Tajik scientists and researchers have made a valuable contribution to protecting animal health, preventing infectious diseases, ensuring biological safety, developing the production of veterinary products, and strengthening the country's food security.
In this regard, the Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan has also consistently expanded its scientific research and production activities during the years of independence, carrying out significant work in the fields of veterinary medicine, biological safety, and biotechnology.
It is a matter of great pride that, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the scientific research and production achievements of the Institute have been summarized in a valuable publication entitled “Scientific Research and Production Achievements of the Institute, 1991–2026.”
This book reflects the glorious path of the Institute’s scientists and employees during the years of independence and highlights their valuable contribution to the development of veterinary science, biological safety, biotechnology, animal health protection, prevention of infectious diseases, and ensuring the country’s food security.
This important achievement is not only the result of the activities of one scientific institution, but also the fruit of the dedicated work of scientists, researchers, specialists, scientific and production staff, as well as different generations of Institute employees, who have contributed to the development of veterinary science and the protection of the country’s biological safety throughout the years of independence.
On this occasion, on behalf of the management and staff of the Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, and personally on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate the proud people of Tajikistan, scientists and researchers, employees of scientific institutions, teachers and educators, knowledgeable young people, and all those working in the field of science on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
I wish every citizen of our beloved Tajikistan good health, happiness, family well-being, peace, prosperity, and new achievements. To scientists and all workers in the field of science, I wish new successes, valuable discoveries, and outstanding scientific achievements in their responsible and creative work.

May peace and stability prevail in our country, may our beloved Motherland become even more prosperous and developed, and may Tajik science continue to strengthen its worthy position in the international arena.
