Academic Council Summarized the Institute's Activities for the First Half of 2026
On 3 July 2026, the regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the State Institution Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology Problems of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.
Agenda of the meeting:
- Review of the six-month reports submitted by the Institute's laboratories on the implementation of research and production activities during the first half of 2026.
Presenters: project leaders and heads of laboratories – M. Asrorzoda, Sh. Rahimova, N.T. Norbutaev, A.A. Tohirzoda, and others.
- Report of the Appraisal Commission on the evaluation of the research activities of the Institute's laboratories during the first six months of 2026.
Presenter: Chairman of the Appraisal Commission, A.S. Toirov.
- Review of the progress reports submitted by postgraduate researchers and degree candidates.
Presenters: Head of the Department of Science, Education and Scientific Personnel Training, A. Nazirov, together with the degree candidates.
- Review of methodological guidelines, recommendations, and regulatory-technical documents.
During the meeting, the reports of the Appraisal Commission, the progress reports of degree candidates, as well as methodological guidelines, recommendations, and regulatory-technical documents were thoroughly discussed. Appropriate decisions were adopted on all agenda items.
Summarizing the Institute's performance for the first half of 2026, the management provided specific instructions aimed at improving the quality of scientific research, strengthening scientific cooperation, and ensuring the effective implementation of the Institute's future work plans.
The Chairman of the Methodological Commission, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences K.B. Mahmudov, presented recommendations for further improving the Institute's scientific and methodological activities.
