Distinguished Scientists, Researchers, and Professionals in Science and Agriculture,
With great respect and sincere pleasure, I warmly congratulate you, and through you the entire people of the Republic of Tajikistan, on one of our nation's most significant public holidays — National Unity Day.
National Unity Day symbolizes peace, stability, friendship, mutual understanding, solidarity, and the unity of the Tajik nation. This historic date is associated with the signing of the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord on 27 June 1997, marking the beginning of a new era of state-building, national reconciliation, and sustainable development in the modern history of Tajikistan. National unity laid a solid foundation for the country's steady progress, the strengthening of statehood, and the peaceful life of its people.
Today, living in an atmosphere of peace and stability, Tajikistan has achieved remarkable progress in the political, economic, social, and scientific spheres. The development of science and education, the advancement of agriculture, the introduction of modern technologies, and the growing international recognition of our beloved country are the direct results of national unity, peace, and the wise leadership of the State.
For the scientific community, national unity has created favorable conditions for the development of research and the practical application of scientific achievements for the benefit of society and the national economy. The scientists and staff of the State Institution "Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology Problems" of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan continue to make valuable contributions to strengthening biological safety, protecting animal health, advancing biotechnology, and ensuring the country's food security.
It is our shared responsibility to preserve peace and national unity as one of our nation's greatest treasures and to instill in the younger generation the values of patriotism, national identity, civic responsibility, and respect for our statehood and national heritage.
We can proudly affirm that national unity is the firm foundation of all the achievements of independent Tajikistan. May peace, stability, mutual understanding, friendship, brotherhood, and national harmony always prevail throughout our beloved homeland.
