Scientific Achievements as a Driving Force for Agricultural Development
On January 8, at the final meeting summarizing the activities of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan for 2025, the main results of scientific research and production activities were reviewed. It was noted that scientists of the Academy achieved significant results in the fields of crop production, soil science, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, biological safety, and agricultural mechanization, creating a number of new crop varieties, inventions, patents, and essential vaccines.
At the meeting, the President of AAST, Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo, awarded scientists with diplomas, certificates of appreciation, and honorary awards for training highly qualified scientific personnel, publishing scientific articles, implementing research achievements in production, successfully defending dissertations, and actively participating in public and development activities in 2025.
In particular, the awards were presented to:
Norbutaev Nizom Toshpulotovich, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Head of the Laboratory for Monitoring Infectious Diseases of Small Ruminants at the State Institution “Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology”;
Emahmadov I., Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Especially Dangerous Animal Diseases of the same institute;
Ahmadov N. A., Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Especially Dangerous Animal Diseases — for scientific achievements and successful defense of academic dissertations.
