Every year on May 18, the world celebrates International Museum Day.
Today, thanks to the independence of Tajikistan, almost every city, district, research institute, and major enterprise in the country has its own museum, where historical artifacts and archaeological findings are exhibited for public viewing.
The Government of Tajikistan, under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, has implemented numerous effective initiatives to develop the fields of culture and history. Notably, special attention is given to the construction and opening of museums, which is clearly evident across various regions of the country.
In honor of the 34th anniversary of Tajikistan's Independence, on September 5, 2025, a new museum was inaugurated at the Institute of Biological Safety and Biotechnology of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan. The museum showcases scientific and practical achievements of researchers in the field of veterinary science.
Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizoī and President of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Salimzoda Amonullo Fayzullo, were among the first to visit the newly opened museum.
