On July 31, 2026, the Institute of Plant Protection of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan held its regular meeting of the Scientific Council under the chairmanship of the Director of the Institute, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Rahmon Fathullo Saidzoda.
During the meeting, the Deputy Director for Science, Education and Training of Scientific Personnel, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences F.T. Qodirzoda, delivered a report on the results of the Institute’s scientific and production activities, as well as the priority areas for the development of the plant protection sector.
The Scientific Secretary of the Institute, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences A.T. Sodiqov, also presented a report summarizing the outcomes of the research activities carried out by the Institute’s departments and laboratories, highlighting the achievements made and the tasks planned for the upcoming period.
The agenda items were discussed with the participation of A.Yu. Kholmatov, A.N. Foziljonov, A.Q. Hamidov, and S.H. Negmatov, who put forward constructive proposals and recommendations on the issues under consideration.
Following the discussions, the Scientific Council adopted the relevant resolutions on all agenda items, which were forwarded to the Institute’s respective structural divisions for implementation.
