“Issues of Protecting State Secrets in the Press and Other Mass Media in the Republic of Tajikistan, Preventing Their Disclosure, and Challenges Related to the Provision of Mandatory Free Copies of Documents”

On June 17, 2025, in Dushanbe, the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, jointly with the heads of information agencies, printing enterprises, and responsible staff of press centers in Dushanbe, held a training seminar on the topic: “Issues of Protecting State Secrets in the Press and Other Mass Media in the Republic of Tajikistan.” The purpose of organizing and holding this event was to study the regulatory and legal framework governing the protection of state secrets, particularly issues related to preventing the disclosure of state secrets in the press and other mass media. During the seminar, relevant issues in this field concerning the activities of mass media in the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed. As part of the event, specialists in the field and seminar participants exchanged views on the above-mentioned issues.
