Celebration of Mother’s Day at the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan

On March 6, 2025, a ceremonial event dedicated to Mother’s Day was held at the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets. The Head of the Main Directorate, Colonel General Sherali Mirzo, congratulated the women and female employees of the Main Directorate and, on their behalf, all mothers on this sacred and significant occasion. During the ceremony, it was noted that the arrival of Mother’s Day at the beginning of spring symbolizes the renewal of life, happiness and prosperity. It was also emphasized that following the achievement of state independence, the role and status of women in society have steadily increased. In particular, under the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, greater attention has been paid to the social and professional activities of women. We take pride in having women and mothers who are strong-willed and dedicated, serving as custodians and successors of the best traditions and authentic customs of our people, particularly in raising and nurturing well-mannered, educated, patriotic and courageous children. As part of the event, employees of the Main Directorate delivered substantive presentations on the role of women and mothers in building a democratic society. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the Head of the Main Directorate presented commemorative gifts to a number of women and female employees in recognition and appreciation of their contribution.
