With the aim of further developing and expanding mutually beneficial cultural relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation will be held in the Republic of Tajikistan from May 25 to 28, 2026.
A cultural and artistic delegation of the Russian Federation, headed by Minister of Culture Olga Borisovna Lyubimova, with the participation of renowned artists and well-known Russian creative groups, will visit Tajikistan.
The program includes the participation of the “Fonograf-Sympho-Jazz” Orchestra under the direction of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Sergey Zhilin, performances by the “Todes” ballet group, as well as an exhibition of paintings.
According to the program, the official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan will take place on May 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the State Complex “Kokhi Borbad”. Further events will continue on May 27–28 in the city of Khujand, Sughd Region.
Within the framework of the Days of Culture, a meeting between the Ministers of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation will be held to discuss issues of further strengthening cultural cooperation.
