With the aim of strengthening cultural ties, exchanging experience, and promoting national dance art, the International Festival “Dance Unites Us” will be held in Dushanbe from April 29 to May 2, 2026, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 110th anniversary of the outstanding dance master, People’s Artist of the USSR Gaffor Valamatzoda.
The opening ceremony of the festival will take place on April 30, 2026, at the Sadriddin Ayni State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. As part of the festival, a scientific conference dedicated to the creative work of Gaffor Valamatzoda will also be held.
