December 17, 2024, Dushanbe. - Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Daler on Friday met with Ko Sakamoto, Permanent Representative of the newly established Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Tajikistan. During the meeting, the parties got acquainted and discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank in the field of energy and water resources. The Minister of Energy and Water Resources briefed the new representative on the current situation and priorities in the field of energy and water resources of the country and stressed the importance of cooperation with ADB for the development of these sectors. Kyu Sakamoto expressed satisfaction with his appointment as the permanent Representative of BORA in Tajikistan and confirmed the readiness of his organization to further support projects for the development of energy and effective management of water resources. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed hope for further strengthening of cooperation and the implementation of new projects in key sectors of the country.
