On November 17, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, launched the activities of the enterprise for the production of reinforced concrete power transmission poles, repair and modernization of transformers of Istaravshan Energy LLC in the city of Istaravshan. The enterprise was built by local entrepreneur Bahodur Zokov on an area of 50 acres of land and includes three workshops, including a welding workshop, repair of transformers and pouring of electric concrete supports. Devices for the production of products at this enterprise are imported and installed from the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China. The leader of the nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, said that the capacity of the workshop for the production of electric concrete installations is 2,200 units per year, local residents were involved in the work. Reinforced concrete supports are manufactured in various sizes, including 11, 10.5 and 9.5 meters, and are used for power transmission lines with a voltage of 0.4, 6 and 10 kilovolts. The production of supports is carried out outdoors, and in the cold season these supports are dried by steam using special equipment. The Head of State highly appreciated the construction work and the opportunities created at the enterprise, and instructed the domestic entrepreneur to further strengthen his potential and expand his field of activity. The transformer repair shop employs 5 local specialists, its capacity is 150 transformers per year. For the repair of transformers, a coil lifting device and a coil winding device with a voltage of 0.4, 6, 10, 35 and 110 kV are installed. This enterprise has created favorable opportunities for drying coils and cleaning oils of damaged transformers. This company also produces electric rods designed for laying wires on supports and attaching them to a transformer. The company's specialists have the ability to produce more than 1,300 such electric rods of various shapes and sizes per year. Also, electric devices with the installation of lanterns are being built to illuminate streets and roadsides. In addition, the company has established the production of boxes for the placement of transformers, as well as electric cutters. The raw materials for the production of products come from the country. In total, 20 people at the enterprise are provided with jobs and decent salaries. In case of increased demand, the company's managers plan to expand the scope of their activities and increase the number of employees. Product samples were displayed in the yard of the enterprise. The Head of State, upon familiarization with the product samples, highly appreciated their quality. The constant support and benefits of the State and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in relation to the private sector contribute to stimulating entrepreneurs, and every year the number of industrial enterprises in cities and districts of the country increases. The activities of this enterprise are also carried out within the framework of the implementation of one of the strategic goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan – accelerated industrialization of the country and makes a significant contribution to reducing imports of products.
