On October 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, held a sincere meeting with the leaders and activists of the district within the framework of a working trip to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in the Roshtkalinsky district. The Head of State, dear Emomali Rahmon, expressed satisfaction with the selfless work of the people of Roshtkalinsky district in the name of the development of dear Tajikistan and contributing to the prosperity of the ancestral land. It was emphasized that the Government of the country has allocated more than 1.5 billion somoni to ensure the socio-economic development of the Roshtkalinsky district and improve the standard and quality of life of its residents over the 33 years of independence. In addition, to date, 10 state investment projects worth 62 million somoni have been implemented in the district. The President of the country stressed that all the efforts of the government within the framework of the implemented projects are aimed at building and equipping schools, ensuring accessibility and improving the quality of medical services, maintaining roads, supplying electricity to villages, supporting vulnerable groups of the population and agricultural farms, as well as preventing natural disasters. In particular, it was noted that the program of socio-economic development of the Roshtkalinsky district for 2021-2025 is being implemented in order to solve social problems and improve the well-being of residents. Due to the difficult political and economic situation in the world, the Head of State drew the attention of the meeting participants to the effective and rational use of available opportunities, including water and land. It was considered necessary for managers and specialists, dehkan farms and all residents of the district to continue the process of increasing production and effectively and efficiently use the best conditions existing in the area, including water and land. During the analysis of the situation in the field of education and health in the region, the regional leadership and responsible persons of these sectors received specific instructions from the head of state to eliminate shortcomings. In honor of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of state independence, construction and reconstruction of 206 different facilities for a total amount of almost one billion somoni is planned in the Roshtkalinsky district. The President of the country, dear Emomali Rahmon, expressed confidence that the leadership, entrepreneurs and patriotic population of the district, together with the relevant ministries and departments, will ensure the commissioning of the remaining facilities on time and with high quality. At the end of his speech, the leader of the nation wished the patriotic and proud residents of the Roshtkalinsky district good luck and honors in achieving good goals and creative plans.
