August 10, 2024, Dushanbe. – The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzod, met with representatives of the World Bank. The energy sector and the implementation of bilateral plans in this direction were considered one of the most important issues of the meeting of the parties. It was emphasized that in times of climate change and rapid warming of the air, the production of green energy is important, and the Republic of Tajikistan is considered one of the countries that occupies an exemplary position in the world due to green energy. Savarziri stressed that in recent years, on the basis of Tajikistan's integration with global financial organizations, including the World Bank, construction and equipment measures have been carried out at the country's hydropower facilities, and work is underway in this direction. They also discussed issues of strengthening integration and increasing the volume of financing in the industry and expressed interest.
