Today, at the initiative of the executive body of the state authority of the city of Dushanbe, a scientific and theoretical conference on “Family happiness and a prosperous life without violence” was held in the capital as part of the information campaign “The 16th Day against violence”. The conference was attended by Deputy Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Odilzoda Dilbar, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Gavhar Sharofzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Umeda Abdullozoda, Head of the Department for Women and Family Affairs of the executive body of the state authority of Dushanbe Makhmasharifzoda Dilrabo, Head of the Department of Religion, regulation of celebrations and rituals of the executive body of the state authority of the city of Dushanbe Abdualim Akhtamzoda, Head of the Department of State Protection of Civil and Political Rights of the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tajikistan - Saidnozimzoda Firuz, along with deputies of the Majlis of People's Deputies of the city of Dushanbe and districts of the capital, active women and women of ministries and departments, deputy chairmen of districts of the capital, deputy rectors for tariff issues of higher educational institutions, heads and responsible persons of structural divisions of the city of Dushanbe and its districts, employees of government structures, education and science, health and social protection of the population, women and family affairs, civil registration, The executive committees of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Dushanbe and its districts were attended by labor veterans, youth and students. The speakers of the conference noted that the Republic of Tajikistan is an integral part of the world community, where the protection of human rights and freedoms is guaranteed by the Constitution, other national laws and international legal acts. Prevention of domestic violence is one of the important directions of the State policy of the Republic of Tajikistan, in order to reduce it and increase the role of women in society, the Government of the country constantly takes the necessary measures. It was also noted that since the first years of independence, the Republic of Tajikistan has been taking all necessary measures to ensure the protection of human rights and freedoms, including equality between men and women. The Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan guarantees equal rights of men and women, and the principle of equality of men and women is expressed in article 17 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, according to which “men and women have equal rights.” In conclusion, active women and girls, including Kurbanova Shirin, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Shohmansur district, Deputy Chairman of the primary executive Committee of the Hikradmandon Party at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, took part in the negotiations and expressed their opinions.
