Today, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, Mr. Rustami Emomali, officially commissioned the highway connecting Bukhoro Street to Habibullo Nazarov Street.
Construction and reconstruction works under the General Plan of Dushanbe started on April 19, 2023. The length of the highway is 560 meters, with a width of 16 meters and four lanes in two directions.
During the inspection, Mayor Rustami Emomali was informed that the implementation of the project included full construction and installation of engineering networks such as drinking water pipes, sewer lines, high-voltage power cables, hot water pipes, communication lines, and outdoor lighting.
Additionally, to ensure the safety of vehicle traffic and pedestrians during the construction and reconstruction, traffic lights and safety signs were fully installed.
The main purpose of this highway is that, once fully operational, it will reduce traffic congestion on neighboring roads and serve as an alternative route for vehicles.
