The gross regional product for the six months of this year amounted to 14.3 billion somoni, its real growth rate compared to the same period last year was 8.2%, and its contribution to the gross domestic product amounted to 23.2%.
During this period, the growth of the gross regional product was ensured by an increase in industrial production by 123 percent, financing in fixed assets by 114 percent, foreign trade turnover by 132 percent, trade turnover by 114 percent, cargo transportation by 111 percent and passenger transportation by 105 percent.
The volume of industrial production amounted to 2.4 billion somoni, which is 23 percent more than in the same period last year.
In general, as of July 1 of this year, due to the commissioning of facilities and the increase in existing production and service capacities, 22,805 new jobs were created and restored, which is 1,319 more units than in the same period last year.
On the part of JSC "Electric Networks of the City of Dushanbe", 2.1 billion kWh of electricity was received in total, which is 213.6 million kWh more than in the same period last year.
The total estimated volume of electricity shipped during the reporting period amounted to 720 million somoni, and its collection amounted to 694 million somoni, which is 96 percent of the plan.
The production of thermal energy during this period amounted to 783 thousand tons. Gcal, which is 42% more than in the same period last year.
During this period, thermal energy in the amount of 39 million somoni was transferred to all customers, and the fundraising amounted to 34 million somoni.
The total amount of financing in fixed assets from all sources of financing at comparable prices amounted to 2.5 billion somoni, which is 14 percent more than in the same period last year.

This year, it is planned to purchase another 30 new modern electric buses under a contract with a domestic company.
In order to ensure the implementation of the Electric Transport Development Program in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2028, 2,958 electric vehicles were purchased and imported, which is 68 percent of the number of leased vehicles.
At the same time, 126 chargers and equipment have been imported, which are currently being installed at certain points.
As part of the implementation of the project "Intelligent system of photo and video recording of traffic violations provided for at bus stops and in special lanes for fixed-route vehicles", surveillance cameras are currently installed at 24 intersections of the capital's highways, and special surometer cameras and 28 road cameras are installed in 24 regions and on the city's highways signs, their activities have been put into operation.

In the six months of this year, the plan for the total revenue of the budget of the city of Dushanbe in the amount of 2.2 billion somoni or 112.4 percent was completed, which exceeds the plan by 240 million somoni.
During this period, 634 million somoni were allocated from the budget of the city of Dushanbe to the republican budget.
The plan of the expenditure part of the budget of the city of Dushanbe has been fulfilled by 98.9%, more than 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated to various socio-economic spheres of the city. somoni.
