Dushanbe, 03.04.2025. The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Mr. Rustam Emomali, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan, Walid ibn Abdulrahman Al-Rushaidan.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia.
It was noted that as a result of high-level political dialogue between the two countries, their relations are developing for the benefit of both sides, and the legal framework of bilateral ties is being strengthened.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the political and economic spheres, trade and investment, as well as cultural and humanitarian areas, including increasing the volume of trade, expanding the structure of mutual trade, and attracting more investors from Saudi Arabia to various sectors of Tajikistan's economy, were discussed.
Additionally, the meeting included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
